The HR Coordinator, Recruitment will serve as a key member of the North American HR team and will play a significant role in driving our recruitment and career development initiatives. This role serves as a critical point-of-contact for our Managers and is responsible for the successful sourcing and hiring of internal and external candidates across the Region. The role is also responsible for supporting other HR team projects.

Main Duties:
Perform fully the recruitment process (conducting phone interviews, in person interviews, and regular follow up communication with candidates and internal managers);
Complete background checks for selected candidates;
Timely turn around on interview bookings and post interview follow up;
Meet with hiring managers to understand and scope the role, set timelines and ensure the role fits into the organization objectives;
Demonstrate an ability to capitalize social networking for recruitment purposes (LinkedIn, Facebook, Wirkn);
Attend networking events to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for open and upcoming roles;
Format job descriptions and post open positions with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues;
Gather and provide feedback as well as recommendations to both the candidate and hiring manager regarding strengths and development needs of the candidate to determine and select the most qualified applicant;
 Present job offers to candidates, write employment contracts, collect hiring documents and plan orientation for selected candidates;
 Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders to ensure close collaboration and communication;
Build effective internal relationships, provide leadership, and foster teamwork and engagement;
 Support the HR team in accomplishing miscellaneous team projects;
Perform any other related tasks, when needed, to support the operations, the HR team and the management.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field;
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a fast paced recruitment role;
Experience recruiting within the retail field;
Very strong organizational skills to juggle competing priorities, manage a portfolio of over 20 vacancies concurrently, acknowledge all applicants, and regularly communicate progress to hiring managers;
An organized self-starter and the ability to work well independently;
Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate in a clear, concise, confident, persuasive and compelling manner;
 Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships and works cooperatively with others to set goals, resolve challenges and accomplish objectives;
Strong initiative, proactive manner, able to articulate and lead staff through interviews confidently;
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and experience using an applicant tracking system.
